Solution: Managed a new stand-alone consumer lending division, functioning as a startup within the larger bank. Led the launch of new financial products, including a credit card business and a personal loan business. My responsibilities spanned strategic leadership in product development, P&L management, and revenue growth, along with comprehensive stakeholder management—regularly engaging with executive teams, the board of directors, and regulators. Additionally, I was responsible for hiring and directing a fully staffed team to execute innovative strategies that focused on customer adoption and overall financial performance.

Challenge: Launch a new personal loan
Solution: As one of the first ten employees, I was responsible for developing new comprehensive strategies and analytics for a personal loan startup: including acquisition strategies, existing customer strategies, and collection strategies. Worked closely with the founding team to establish and scale an operation that swiftly grew by setting up essential systems —including implementing the core processing system, decision engine, and sophisticated forecasting models—laying a solid foundation for the company's future growth and its eventual acquisition.
